Horticultural Crops Research Farm Manager

The Ohio State University, Ohio Agricultural Research & Development Center (OARDC), Wooster, Ohio is accepting applications for a full time Horticultural Crops Research Farm Manager. This position manages field operations to implement, maintain and meet objectives for specialty crops research. Production systems include orchards, vineyards, small fruits, hop yards, vegetables, and high-tunnel systems. The manager will collaborate with faculty, staff & students to implement research; supervise, hire, train & evaluate staff & students. The manager will also monitor budgets and time/effort records; scout ongoing research projects for conditions that may impact research results; plan field days and outreach events; market crops.
