September 22, 2010 -- Click here to register for this teleconference
The North Central IPM Center is pleased to host an informational seminar about the new Journal of IPM on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. ET, 2:00 p.m. CT, 1:00 p.m. MT, 12:00 p.m. PT and 9:00 a.m. Hawaii-Aleution time zone. Drs. Marlin Rice of Pioneer Hi-Bred International and Kevin Steffey of Dow AgroSciences will provide basic information on the development and purpose of the journal as well as information about the breadth of publication topics. Key participants include individuals involved in integrated pest management projects that develop publishable extension or outreach information. The seminar will be followed by a Q&A session. We estimate the session will be completed in one hour. This training will be provided at no cost to the participant. Interested individuals must register on-line at http://www.ncipmc.org/teleconference/. Once registered, the automated system will provide updates regarding call-in information as well as access to PowerPoint slide set that will be used during the training. When practical, we suggest use of a central location where multiple individuals can participate in the seminar using a LDC projector and phone pod. For groups who plan to participant using this approach, please have only one member of the group register for the session to allow us to accurately estimate the number of phone lines needed for the session. If you have questions about the seminar, please contact Susan Ratcliffe, Director of the North Central IPM Center at 217-333-9656 or via email at ipm@illinois.edu. Please share this training announcement with others within your state that would benefit from the sessions.
