Integrated Pest Management Centers
Funding for a network of Integrated Pest Management Centers was authorized by Section 406 of the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education Reform Act of 1998. As the result of a competitive process, four Integrated Pest Management Centers were formed. These were spread geographically across the United States.
The map shows the United States separated into four regions. The Western Region includes the states of Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. The North Central Region includes the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. The Northeast Region includes the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia. The Southern Region includes the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
